JEAN DESPRÉS (1889-1980) Heart-shaped cut-out Very rare and elegant Champagne bucket (rafraîchissoir) in silver-plated metal with hammered surface. The flared body rests on a smooth heel recessed by a circular base; the title-cut rim is enhanced by a projecting cylindrical bead. The handles are curvilinear, each forming a Y; their surface is smooth. Made in the 1970s. Bears the Master Goldsmith hallmark around the base. H.24,5cm - L.28cm
