An ancient korobla or poniugo helmet mask depicting a hybrid animal, embodying a forest spirit, its mouth wide open, with the tip of its tongue visible in the center, revealing its powerful fangs symbolizing its ferocity. The slightly curved face is well structured by the fine bridge of the nose, yet bears witness to a very human presence, or at the very least, a particularly endearing one.
