HECTOR GUIMARD (1867-1942) GB, modern style, model created circa [1905]. Central element of a large balcony or balustrade. Cast-iron proof. Early edition of Fonderies de Saint-Dizier - Leclerc & Cie. Stripped piece, scattered restorations, a long reinforcement screwed to the reverse at the top, a small one in the decorations also on the reverse, part of the scroll redone identically. Marked GB on the bottom reverse. H.80,5cm - L.72cm Public collections: Musée d'Orsay, Paris - A central element of a large GB balcony identical to our work is preserved in the collections of this institution under inventory number OAO 637.
