THEODORE RIVIÈRE (1857-1912) L'Effroi au réveil Sculpture. Proof in finely carved ivory. The turned wooden base is decorated with an ivory ring and stands on three ivory feet. Early 20th-century proof. Original restoration on the right buttock. Signed Théodore RIVIÈRE on the wooden base. H.sculpture alone: 16cm - H.total: 22cm Public collections: Musée de Beaux-Arts de Reims - An identical model, of a different size, is conserved in the collections of this institution under inventory number 907.19.409.
