Eugène GRASSET (1845-1917) Twelve compositions. Engraved on wood and printed in chromotypography. G. de Malherbe imprimeur, Paris. Faulty cover, no print run justification, but a precious copy of this calendar intended for La Belle Jardinière (as Grasset himself indicates in a drawing for June, the months are printed in color on Chine volant, followed by a suite in black on tracing paper. Our copy features 6 pencil drawings (for the months of June, July, August, October, November and December) and white gouache highlights on brown paper, two of which are signed.
