Bradel brown half-chagrin, fawn parts with gilt title throughout, gilt tail edge in place of head (modern binding). Collection of 8 late 18th-century headdresses engraved and colored at the time: Archipelago-style headdress, Athenian-style hair headdress, Asiatic turban with headband, hat topped with lace veil, child's headdress topped with flowers, embroidered tulle cornette, Pallas-style hat, satin hat turned up and edged in cigne.
