Blond, 1883. - 5 volumes in-8, the first volume bradel half-maroquin lavallière with corners set with a double gilt fillet, ornate smooth spine, brown title page, gilt head, covers preserved (Magnin Rel.); the others paperback, with covers of deliveries and common illustrated cover, all preserved in a modern box (Jean-Claude Chalanson). Set of numbers 1, 2, 4, 5 and 7 of the 12 issues of this bimonthly women's magazine published by Rouveyre, containing a series of 6 continuously paginated articles: Études sur le costume féminin by Marguerite d'Aincourt, Les Salons de Paris by Bachaumont, Hygiène de la Parisienne by Dr. Darfeu, Nouvelles et contes illustrés, Le Théâtre à Paris en 1883 and Courrier illustré de la Mode parisienne. The articles are illustrated with black drawings by Henriot, Cortazzo and Scott. Numbers 2 and 7 also contain 12 pages of a musical album of L'Art de la femme by Edouard Okolowicz. Preserved in an attractive modern box. Very rare foxing.
