"During the summer of 1935 at Lise Deharme's home in the Landes region of France, André Breton, Paul Éluard and their wives attempted to shoot a surrealist film, but Man Ray's small camera jammed. All that remains are some images, 7 of which were published in Cahiers d'Art, n° 5-6, 1935, p. 107, under the title: "Essai de simulation du délire cinématographique, scénario d'André Breton et Paul Éluard, réalisation de Man Ray"" (Centre Pompidou).
The negative and a similar print are in the collections of the Centre Pompidou, Paris.
