MONDRIAN (Piet) [Album of 12 color serigraphs] Paris: Galerie Denise René, 1957. - Album in-plano, 650 x 500 : (2 ff.), 12 plates. A rare complete album, printed at 300 copies on Bristol San Francisco, featuring 12 color serigraphs of major works by Dutch painter Piet MONDRIAN (1872-1944), produced between 1911 and 1942-43. It was published by the Denise René gallery, which in the same year organized the first retrospective in France of the artist's work. It opens with a table leaf and a text by Michel Seuphor entitled Présence de Mondrian. This copy is numbered 110 and is one of 200 numbered from 1 to 200. A very well preserved copy, despite a few tears at the fold of the flaps.
