Translucent gray agate snuffbox in the form of a small purse, China, 1780-1850 Flattened, semicircular shape carved on each side with small grooves imitating the folds of a traditional Chinese silk purse, tightened around a quadrangular neck. The neck is pierced by two holes through which cords are passed to suspend the bottle. The top of the neck is flat. Very well hollowed out. Blue glass stopper. Height: 4 cm A tiny chip on the neck.
