Etching and aquatint. 170x240mm. Very fine proof printed separately in red chalk on vellum with wide margins, signed in pencil. Annotations in pencil by a foreign hand in the lower margin, rubbed (the mention "HC" partially erased). Small label on verso. Full margins. The plate is inspired by Picasso's self-portrait painted a year before his death, to which Arman has here added a bull's profile. The same subject in the book is drawn in sanguine, at 90 proofs.
