REMI BONHERT (BORN 1943)
Rémi Bonhert's artistic experience began with the study of ceramics at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bourges, followed by an internship at Yves Mohy's studio in La Borne. Building on this training, he began his own production with his wife Hildegund Schlichenmaier. Reflecting the profound influence of Jean and Jacqueline Lerat, his teachers in Bourges, his works feature a primordial aspect of matter, sometimes animated by spiral or fossil motifs, which hark back to the plant and animal world.
