In-8, bradel style, case-hardback, gilt title on red leather spine. Later binding.
Approximately 14 clean-paginated bulletins, each marked with a seal.
Very rare foxing and light dampening.
Collection of approximately 14 law bulletins (N°24, 33, 35, 95, 243, 277, 433, 470, 508, 550, 578, 974, 990 and 1039), each containing several ordinances and decrees enacted between 1810 and 1848, under the reigns of Napoleon, Louis XVIII, Charles X and Louis-Philippe. It opens with the decree issued by Napoleon in his imperial palace at Compiègne on March 25, 1810, on the occasion of his wedding, which reads: "6,000 retired soldiers, with at least one campaign under their belts, will be married on April 22 to girls from their communes, who will be given a dowry of 1,200 francs for Paris and 600 francs for the rest of the Empire".
