Eugène RUDIER (1875-1952) art founder. L.A.S., Malakoff June 16, 1949, to Werner Lange in Sachsenburg; 1 1/2 pages in-8, headed Fonderie Alexis Rudier (stains), envelope. Warm letter, alluding to their friendship under the Occupation: "We think of you so often and were happy to see Adrian friends again. He didn't know where he was, and asks for news of his mother. "Our garden is full of roses and also fruit and vegetables, we must combine business with pleasure". He encloses a few petals to remind her of their garden in Malakoff... We enclose 3 L.A.S. from Mme Rudier to the same, 1952-1954, including one dated August 20, 1952, evoking the death of her husband.
