STRASBOURG 1789 Silver tulip-shaped tumbler with four pinched ribs. Engraved with a garland of flowers below the fillet molding on the rim. This pattern of flowers can be found on timbales from the fourth quarter of the 18th century in Strasbourg. Master silversmith: attributed to Jean-Jacques VIERLING, received in 1745 Hallmarks: city recognition 1784 - 1789 - 1797, maison commune (number 5 under a helmet with plume) and master goldsmith. Weight: 138 g - height: 8.4 cm Condition: good condition of the gilt
