Very interesting set from Russia and the U.S.S.R. in 1 album - Lot 28

Very interesting set from Russia and the U.S.S.R. in 1 album of around 1,500 stamps from the earliest issues to the late 1970s. We also have the "ends of catalogs" (P.A. and territories under control). Inserted in this album is 1 large envelope containing 2 pages of new revenue stamps (including spade heads). A second 30-page album contains over 1,700 stamps and 4 letters from the former republics of the Soviet Union (mainly Ukraine). There's a whole study of overprinting (including variety and reverse). Complete sets, provisional issues, imperforates, postal stationery (including one mixed Ukraine/U.S.S.R., certificate enclosed). Attached are 18 "Years books" from the USA (period 1971 to 1983), containing $183 (€156) in face value.
