Rare King's bodyguard flintlock pistol model 1731 - Lot 18
Rare King's bodyguard flintlock pistol model 1731 Round barrel, with thunderbolt sides, engraved "G". Flat-body lock, marked "BARALLON CARRIER", hallmarked "SF" under fleur-de-lis and flat-body hammer. Bassinet with flange. Engraved iron fittings: fleurs-de-lys counterplate tail, esponton trigger guard front. Cap with remaining engraving of a sun. Counterplate engraved "37". Plain iron front band. Walnut stock with long barrel. Wooden ramrod with iron pastille. Barrel length: 38.5 cm - Overall length: 58 cm A.B.E. (Old break over 31 cm on the front of the barrel, small chips).
