Our specialized auctions attract many collectors and enthusiasts from all over the world and consist of Islamic and Indian objects, orientalist paintings and furniture, religious manuscripts such as Korans, prayer books, etc., literary manuscripts often illustrated with miniatures such as Shâhnâmeh and Khamsa of Nizami, Arabic, Persian, and Ottoman scientific manuscripts such as astronomical treatises, calligraphies, paintings, ceramics including architectural elements and tableware, metal, jewelry, arms and weapons, objects in wood or paper mache, textiles such as dyes, formal clothing, and embroidery, furniture, and architectural elements including cenotaphs, capitals, and friezes.

These specialized auctions assemble a wide variety of lots dating from the beginning of Islam to the end of the 19th century during the Abbasid, Seljuk, Ayyubid, Mamluk, Safavid, Mughal, Ottoman, and Qâjâr periods which originate from North Africa in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, the Near East in Turkey and Syria, the Middle East in Afghanistan and Iran, Central Asia in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, and India in Rajasthan and Kashmir.

All the civilizations of Antiquity (Roman and Greek Antiquity or Egypian art) are of interest to enthusiasts and collectors of archaeology.From the Roman Empire to the Roman Republic, Ancient Roman art flourished in all media including sculpture, decorative arts, and jewelry and by using all materials such as bronze and terracotta. Ceramics and mosaics were also used and would include the glory of Apollo, Diana, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, Minerva, Neptune, and all other gods of mythology.

Our Ancient Greece auctions are always a great success and include Hellenistic deities such as Herakles, Artemis, Athena, Medusa, Zeus, Hermes, Eros, etc. Various types of vases and pots like the black and red figures, are also featured in the archaeological auctions.Among the most sought after Egyptian antiquities are sarcophagi, mummies, sarcophagus and mummy masks, funerary statuettes such as shaouabti and oushebti, canopic vases, amulets, and objects in the shape of scarabs. The gods and deities of mythology also interest buyers and include Osiris, Isis, Nephthys, Bastet, Hathor, Sekhmet, Horus, Ptah-Sokar-Osiris, Anubis, Thoth, Amon, etc.
