CHARLIE MONTHLY. Newspaper full of humor and comics. Paris, 1969-1982. - 60 issues in-4, stapled. This monthly was created in February 1969. Inspired by an Italian magazine called Linus, it made a place for American comic strips, little known in France at the time, and in particular for Peanuts, whose hero Charlie Brown gave the name to the paper. The editor-in-chief was Delfeil de Ton, and among the contributors were some members of the Hara-Kiri team: Wolinski, Reiser, Gébé and Willem. Two series appeared, the first consisting of 152 issues published between 1969 and 1981, and the second, after Dargaud's purchase of 45 issues published between 1982 and 1986. The set includes numbers 14, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 38, 39, 40, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 49, 50 (2 copies), 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 63, 64, 66, 68, 69, 71, 72, 74, 77, 80, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 96, 103, 108, 109, 110, 112, 113, 114, 115 and 149 of the first series, and number 1 of the new series. Well-preserved copies as a whole. There is some minor soiling in places and sometimes traces of use.
