ENLUMINATION]. Two illuminated manuscript leaves from a book of hours (Psalms of Penance) In Latin, illuminated leaf on parchment, two leaves together (a double leaf laid flat, fold lined with a blue silk braid): commercial production in the Fouquettian style? France, Tours, circa 1460-1470Dimensions of each leaf : 102 x 145 mmVery good condition. Endpapers in dark red and blue with gold highlights; initials traced in liquid gold on blue or dark red backgrounds; illuminated frames on reserved backgrounds with blue and gold acanthus leaves, foliage, flowers and strawberries, small fox with its hood in the lower margin of the left leaf. These borders are reminiscent of those found in Touraine manuscripts attributable, for example, to the Master of Boccaccio of Munich, successor or follower of Jean Fouquet in the 1470s (see Avril, F.
