4 z'ArtsThéo Sardnal (1898-1984). The Return of the Phoenicians to Tyre. Invitation for the ball of the 4 z'Arts of the year 1924. Exceptional set including a preparatory drawing in India ink gouache on cardboard [312 x 462], signed vertically on the right; 2 drawings on tracing paper, India ink and graphite, of the same size; a photomechanical transposition on vellum of large size; 2 printed invitations of reduced size, one still having its stub, the other without. Minor accidents and age wear. Set of 6 p. Theodosius, known as Theo, Sardnal was an architect. He entered the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1921 after several attempts. He was a student of Auguste Perret and, in 1923, co-founded the Perret studio. When he completed this degree, he was 26 years old and still a student. He later collaborated with Perret on the reconstruction of Le Havre.
