Dense inscriptions in Arabic thuluth, some elements in naskhi, in various directions in black ink, some rosettes or other plant decorations illuminated with gold and polychrome. One stamped with an ink stamp. Another bearing the name of 'Uthman al-Hafiz. Size: 16.4 x 20.9 cm to 17.9 x 26.3 cm Stains, some chips and wear. 'Uthman al-Hafiz (1642-98) known as Hafiz Osman, was a great Ottoman calligrapher of the 17th century.
