Strid). Original edition of this album of 34 portraits by the illustrator and cartoonist Julien Pavil (1895-1952), which presents a true panorama of the theatrical glories of the early 20th century. All the portraits are presented by the incisive pen of Robert Cayla. Some of the most striking characters are among them: Marcel Achard " A true young man whose sloes shine behind the glass of his glasses like pearls in a shop window... ", Tristan Bernard " A phlegmatic and sardonic Socrates, fauna in the theatre, Diogenes semi-mundane in the city... ", Sacha Guitry " Molière with Armande Béjart !
