Sword of dress of the Hundred NCOs. Horn fuse with watermark. Chiselled and gilded brass mount. Pommel with the "N" on a radiating background on one side and the imperial crown on a radiating background on the other side. One-branch hilt, two inverted quillons and no donkey, chiselled with foliage and grooved. Body knot decorated with the eagle on both sides. Partly folding lyre guard plate, struck no. 54. White triangular blade, engraved at the heel with "Coulaux et Cie Klingenthal". Leather scabbard with two cut brass trimmings. Mint No. 54 stamped cap. Palmette clevis knob. A.B.E.
