[GATHERING] Modus legendi abbreviaturas in utroq(ue) jure sive processus iuris. Strasbourg: [Georg Husner], secunda feria post Margarethe [21 July] 1494. - In-folio, 281 x 209 : (126 ff. last blank). sig. a-f8/6 g-v6]; car. goth. two col. of 52 lines. Havana half calf embossed with cold scrolls on wooden ais, remnants of chased brass clasps, spine ribbed, handwritten parchment bookmarks protruding from the gutter (contemporary binding). Hain, 11487. - BMC, I, 144, a very rare incunabulum edition of this collection of legal texts, the oldest edition of which is dated 1476 . It was printed in Strasbourg by the printer of the "Jordanus" of Quelinburg in 1483, designating Georg Husner. This collection was intended especially for students of canon and civil law.
