It is presented in the catalogue opposite this poem: "After having suffered the unfortunate amputation that we know, Saint Denis, ready to ascend to heaven, resolved to offer himself one last earthly pleasure. As the refined voluptuary that he was, he shaved his holy face of Windsor-Soap martyrdom with germander (Chardin et Cie); he took his good Aubry razor (Palais-Royal, left or right depending on the point of departure) and with the soft cutting edge like a caress, he scratched his sacred face. When the operation was over, he soothed the razor's fire with some delicious Dubarry's revival as a rice powder. (PAID CLAIM)"
