The top and bottom shelves are made of oak; the back is made of plywood. The sliding doors are complete with their oak stiffeners forming holds; two for one, one for the other. The sides are made of folded and beige lacquered sheet metal. The furniture was initially mounted on a metal frame, which is now missing. State of use, stains, dirt and cracks on the wooden parts, strong oxidation and wear to the lacquer on the metal cheeks, absence of the foot (frame) in metal. This work was acquired by the father of the current owner after the factory moved from Dornach (Mulhouse) to Vieux-Thann in 1987 after the purchase of the Braun company by Burda in 1980. In the months and years following this move, the machines and equipment of the old Mulhouse factory were dispersed and the building was finally destroyed.
