PARIS 1782 - 1783 Silver tureen, complete with its frame and lining. The oval-shaped dish is bordered with fillets and engraved on the rim with a series of floral and leafy scrolls. It is engraved in the center of the coat of arms in recall on the tureen and the lining. The tureen stands on four feet with acanthus leaf attachments. It is girdled, in edge, of waves on amati bottom. The handles are made of two twin branches. The edge of the lid with a doucine has the same decoration as the dish. The handle represents an artichoke on its terrace of leaves.
