Cantata for mixed choir, solo soprano and instrumental ensemble on "Le Cantique des créatures ou de frère Soleil du bieneureus Sainct Françoys d'Assise" translated into Old French by Henri Louette. Commissioned by the Festival d'Art Sacré de la Ville de Paris, Canto was premiered on December 9, 1983 in the church of Saint-Louis-en-l'Île, by Irène Jarsky (soprano) and the Ensemble vocal Stéphane Caillat, conducted by Stéphane Caillat.
