Maurice OHANA (1913-1992). Autograph music manuscript signed, Crypt, 1980; [1]-18 leaves 36 x 27 cm. Piece for string orchestra, extension of the final "Farang-Ngô" of the 2nd String Quartet, premiered on October 29, 1980 in Chambéry, at the Théâtre Charles Dullin, by the Orchestre de Chambéry et de Savoie, conducted by Claire Gibault, who is the dedicatee. The orchestra is composed of 6 first violins, 6 second violins, 4 violas, 4 cellos, and 2 double bass. Duration about 9 minutes. The manuscript is carefully written in Indian ink on tracing paper with 24 lines, with two systems of 9 staves per page; it is signed at the end with the monogram and dated " 13 VII 80 ". An introductory sheet gives the dedication and indication of the creation, the list of instruments and performance notes. The 5 parts of the orchestral material on tracing paper by copyists are enclosed.
