TÔN-THÂT Tiêt (born 1933). Partially autograph musical manuscript, Chu Ky VII for harp and instrumental ensemble, 1986; 66 sheets 37 x 27 cm. Orchestral score of this piece for harp and ensemble, premiered on February 13, 1987 at the Centre Georges Pompidou by Marie-Claire Jamet and the Ensemble Intercontemporain conducted by Kent Nagano. It is dedicated to Marie-Claire Jamet and Kent Nagano. Duration about 20 minutes. In addition to the harp, the orchestra includes flute (piccolo and bass), oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, horn, 2 trumpets, tenor trombone, bass trombone, 2 percussionists, piano, 2 violins, viola, cello, double bass. The manuscript is carefully noted in Indian ink on tracing paper; it is dated at the end "St Maur VI-X 1986"; ff. 18 to 59 have been replaced by photographic tracings (probably after correction). The autograph material of the 15 parts on tracing paper is enclosed: flute (7 p.), harps (15 p.), oboe (4 p.), 1st clarinet (4 p.), bass clarinet (4 p.), bassoon (4 p.), horn (4 p.), trumpets (6 p.), trombones (7 p.), percussions (10 p.), piano (10 p.), violin 1 (8 p.), violin 2 (7 p.), viola (7 p.), cello (7 p.), double bass (5 p.)
