Théodose, known as Théo, Sardnal was an architect. He entered the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1921 after several attempts. He was a student of Auguste Perret and, in 1923, co-founded the Perret studio. When he completed this degree, he was 26 years old and still a student. He later collaborated with Perret on the reconstruction of Le Havre.
