Armor of the akazonae nimai do tosei gusoku type, Japan, mid-EdoDō period of kiritsuke yozane ishitoji okegawa dō. The cuirass is made of yozane-shaped iron plates attached to each other by cross leather lacing and lacquered red. Suji bachi kabuto of goshôzan form with eight riveted and lacquered slats. Mabizashi with mayu (eyebrows) and miage shiwa (forehead wrinkles) in uchidashi on the mabizashi. Shikoro of gesan jikoro type, divided into several parts, each part made of five red lacquered iron strips and laced in midori kebiki odoshi, green lacing. Tehen kanamono (hachimanza) with five levels made of shakudo, copper and for the base gilded copper with chiseled decoration of scrolls. Menpo of the ressei (fierce) type in iron lacquered sabi nuri (lacquer imitating the oxidation of iron) in two parts, the nose fixed with two pegs.
