BRAZIL XIXth CENTURY Part of a toiletry set in gilt composed of two large powder boxes, a soap box and an ointment jar with the arms of Therese Cristina of Bourbon-Sicily, or of the Two Sicilies, Empress of Brazil (1822 - 1889), wife of Pedro II last Emperor of Brazil. The powder box and the ointment jar are cylindrical, engraved on the lid in a band of leafy motifs on a background of amati, the repercé with leaf motifs. The soap box, rectangular, is pierced with leaf motifs framing the coat of arms applied to each element. Stamped with the weevil, no other mark Weight : 944 g - height : for the powder boxes, 5,3 cm for the ointment pot - length of the soap box : 7,8 cm - width : 5 cm - height : 3,6 cm BRAZIL XIXth century A silver gilt part of necessaire, including two big powder boxes, a soap box and an ointment pot. Engraved with the Brazil Empress coat of arms. Maker's mark: no marks
