Enameled silver Jewish mahdur headdress, Morocco, Anti-Atlas, Souss region, 20th centuryRectangular frontal element made of a weave of metallic weft threads on animal hair warp, decorated with three silver trimmings in blue, green and yellow cloisonné enamel punctuated with colored glass cabochons. Small pendants with silver, coral and imitation coral beads at their base. Lining and textile yokes forming the attachments, Dim. frontal ornament: 20 x 29 cm; gross weight: 597 g; wear and stains .
