P.S. with autograph apostille "Bon pour pouvoir Louis-Charles de France", Paris March 25, 1849; 1 page in-4 with tax stamp. Rare document by which the pseudo-baron de Richemont had Madame Royale summoned so that he could be recognized as Louis XVII. "I, the undersigned Louis-Charles de France, duke of Normandy, designated and known in the world by the fact of circumstances and revolutionary events, under the first names and surnames of Ethelbert Louis Hector Alfred b[ar]on de Richemont" gives power to the solicitor Louis-Augustin de Plas "to introduce against whom it will appear and to take the necessary measures to protect the rights of the people, to introduce against whom it will appear and in particular against lady Marie Thérèse Charlotte of France Duchess of Angouleme residing in Frohsdorf near Vienna (Austria) a legal request having for goal to make declare null and void an act of the registers of the civil status of Paris of the twenty-four prairial year III (June 12, 1795) which notes falsely the death of Louis Charles of France duke of Normandy then Dauphin of France under the name of Louis Charles Capet [....], to make note of my identity and my filiation as well by titles as by witnesses [...] in order to do all that will be necessary to make me restore the rights resulting from my state and quality of legitimate son of late Louis Auguste King of France and Navarre and of late lady Marie Antoinette "...
