PARIS 1786 - 1787 Carved coconut mounted in silver. The circular pedestal, molded with ovals and interlacing, is extended by channels on an amatized background as a reminder of the lid. The nut, whose two handles rest on an openwork band of oves and interlacing, is also held by two branches of rosebushes in bloom. The mobile lid, taking up the decoration of the foot, is topped by a catch holding a bouquet of flowers held by a ribbon.
