Necessary cassette of pistols. Walnut case (crack, notch, missing handle, yawning lid), with brass escutcheon, closing with hooks. Sheathed inside with green felt (partly redone), it contains: a pair of percussion dueling pistols, numbered 1 and 2. Barrels with sides, rifled and decorated with acid. Flat-bodied front plates and hammers decorated with gold fillets. Finger rests. Iron trimmings cut out engraved in continuation. Iron rods with nickel silver tips. Walnut crossbars. Bronzed finish. For the gun n°1, the walnut frame is very damaged. Circa 1850-1860. With its accessories: box with powder and mallet out of purple wood, screwdriver dismounts chimney with stick with ivory cap with screw for the housing of the capsules, mould with ball, powder pod (brought back), rod of stuffing.
