Flintlock pommel gun.
Round barrel with engraved thunderbolts, decorated in relief with three brass rods. Tailstock and barrel covered with brass decorated with lines and dots. Lock signed "L. HALENE" and hammer (posterior in its high part) swan neck with engraved flat body. Trimmings out of cut out brass chiselled. Pommel screw decorated with a grotesque head in high relief. Wooden ramrod with brass tip.
Length of the barrel: 47 cm Overall length: 29,8 cm
In the state (Notch on the barrel, pitting, lengthened barrel, repair welds on the fittings). About 1730-1750.
Probably "HALENG", referenced in the "Jarlier" on a gun lock
of Louis XIV period.
