Pair of flintlock pistols.
Round barrels with thunderbolts, one stamped with the cross of the Holy Sepulchre. Lock plates signed "Lutandu à Montlucon" and flat-bodied swan-necked hammers engraved with foliate scrolls. Iron fittings engraved in suite, cap engraved with a profile of Roman Emperor. Crosses in walnut. Wooden ramrod with iron pastille.
Lengths of the barrels: 27 cm - Total length: 45 cm
(Repairs, lacks and accidents to the wood, uniform pitting).
In the state. Circa 1760.
Lutandu (Lutanau or Luxtandu). Harquebusier in Montlucon. One finds this signature on a pair of pistols about 1770 of the old collection Draeger.
