Superb and ancient polychrome warrior's armband with finely engraved decorations of abstract motifs of friezes, curves of lines and spirals such as eyes, leaves, shields and faces, and reminding the marvelous and abundant paintings on bark of the houses of the men. Middle Sepik, Papua New Guinea Large sea turtle shell, white polychromy with lime and pale red relics, vegetable fiber attachments, old wear and small accidents (old breaks), very nice patina.
