Coconut mounted in silver forming drageur. The body is carved on two registers successively of a row of palms, in recall on the lid, of a coat of arms of interlaced letters and of a row of flowers and their foliage. The silver mounting, on a square base and four ball feet, declines a Restoration decoration of palmettes, rais-de-coeur, birds in the nest, topped by a catch representing a swan. Goldsmith: unidentified: a G between two dots in a rhombus on the lid, crossed out on the reverse. Upper Normandy, 1819 - 1838.
