Paris: The Friends of José Imbert, 1932. - In-8, in sheets, printed cover, folder and case of the publisher. First edition printed at only 150 copies on japon nacré, illustrated with an illuminated engraving by François-Louis SCHMIED, signed in the plate, accompanied by a proof in black. One of the 100 copies out of trade, this one justified as an "author's copy", enriched under the justification with this beautiful sending from the author to his friend Lucien Buccholz: "To my very dear and faithful friend // Lucien Buccholz, infant of // Calliope. // A modest proselyte of the sweet Polymnia. // José Imbert // Paris, January 12, 1933 " A portrait of the author dedicated by Germaine Imbert to "Master Buccholz, the sincere friend of my dear departed" is attached, accompanied by the handwritten quatrain of which Mrs. Imbert wrote the first verse following her dedication . A very well preserved copy despite the faded spine of the folder.
