ANTON MICHELSEN. Silver bracelet, articulated links in stylized bark. Not signed. Hallmark of master. Danish work of the 1970s. Dimensions : 2,3 x 20 cm approximately. Weight : 86,6 g{CR}{CR}An Anton Michelsen bracelet. In 1841, Anton Michelsen creates in Copenhagen a workshop of goldsmithery named in an eponymous way. He quickly gained the favor of the royal family and received the title of Royal Jeweler of the Court and Orders. Anton Michelsen's workshops were the breeding ground for many Danish designers such as Georg Jensen or Knud V. Andersen. The latter designer signed the silver bracelet with stylized bark links, presented here, for ANTON MICHELSEN. The use of stylized bark decoration for jewelry is a leitmotif in Knud V. Andersen
