Long kard dagger, Iran qâjâr, 18th century Long, straight, tapered single-edged blade of damascus steel, the heel engraved with a half-lambrequin flowered in part inlaid with gold, the decoration continuing on the guard. The flat back decorated with a gold inlaid frieze of foliage and engraved with medallions and cartouches engraved with flowers continuing on the silk of the handle flanked by two bone plates. Length : 41,2 cm Wear, traces of rust and slight lifting of the steel plates and the gilded decoration on the guard.
