Amphora-shaped vase, Tunisia, Nabeul, El-Kharraz workshop, attributed to Hassen el-Kharraz, circa 1920-40 Vase with a high ovoid body resting on a high pedestal with a swollen base, surmounted by a narrow neck finished with a cylindrical lip and flanked by two straight handles with curved ends. In earthenware with painted decoration of an alternation of geometric friezes of spindles, and vegetable friezes of flowers in button, the grooved handles. Inscribed in Arabic at the base of the body "El-Kharraz Nabeul" and stamped under the base attributed to Hassen el-Kharraz. Height: 42,5 cm A chip at the foot.
