Vase meka or candlestick cham'adan, Tunisia, Nabeul, De Verclos workshop, 1920-50 Vase tulip or candlestick with globular body posed on high pedestal and equipped with five cylindrical bobèches or necks with widened end. In earthenware with painted decoration of a frieze of boteh on the pedestal, of brown stripes surmounted by tawqs with ocelli on the body, and of a frieze of colored points on the bobèches. Inscription in Arabic under the base: "De Verclos, Qallal al-Qadim, Nabeul". Height: 23 cm Some chips on the wicks / necks and the pedestal.
