BRAZIL XIXth CENTURY Part of a gilt toiletry set composed of two large powder boxes, a soap box and an ointment jar with the coat of arms of Thérèse Cristina de Bourbon-Sicile, or of the Two Sicilies, Empress of Brazil (1822 - 1889), wife of Pedro II last Emperor of Brazil. The powder boxes and the ointment jar are cylindrical, engraved on the lid in a band of leafy motifs on a background of amati, the repercé with leaf motifs. The soap box, rectangular, is pierced with motifs of leaves framing the coat of arms applied to each element. Stamped with the weevil, without other mark Weight : 944 g - height : for the powder boxes, 5,3 cm for the ointment jar - length of the soap box : 7,8 cm - width : 5 cm - height : 3,6 cm
