Saint Jerome in the desert. 1573. Burin after G. Muziano. 380 x 521. New Hollstein 116. Beautiful proof on laid paper, of the 1st state (of 4), before erasure of the address of B. Breggio, trimmed to the plate cut but complete with the tablet. Median horizontal drying fold, with small holes. A few other small holes (notably from worms) in the subject. Watermark: shield with three mounts crowned with a fleur-de-lys.
