[LIGHTING]. [GRADUAL]. - Lot 11
[LIGHTING]. [GRADUAL]. Two leaves from a gradual. In latin, illuminated leaves on parchment. Tempera, gouache on parchment. Italy, Bologna (?), circa 1300-1350. Dimensions : 315 x 450 mm and 300 x 445 mm Some soiling to the parchment and small tears. These leaves contain rubrics mentioning introits and therefore must be a gradual, the choir book of the mass (and not an antiphonary, the choir book for the Divine Office). They contain two ornate initials (initial D and initial A, the latter introducing the chant for the third Sunday after the Epiphany).
